The finger is divided into 3 phalenges by two markings or joints these are called the knots:
If knots are absent then the person is quick in making decisions and plans.
If only one knot is present on the base phalenge the one near the mounts.....then the person gives a lot of thought to a plan and then executes.
If two knots are present then the person thinks a lot before acting rather slow.
